Maryland now requires rental payment reporting. We make it simple.
If you manage six or more residential units in Maryland, a new state law requires you to offer residents the option to have the on-time rent reported to a consumer reporting agency.
IDIQ® gives your properties a dedicated way to do it.

What Maryland Senate Bill 335 requires
Senate Bill 335 adds Section 8–208.4 to Maryland’s Real Property Article. Here is what property managers need to know.
Six units or more
The requirement applies to any property manager or landlord that owns six or more residential rental units in Maryland.
Positive payment reporting
You must offer, in the written lease, the option to report a resident’s positive rental payment history to at least one consumer reporting agency.
On-time rent only
“Positive rental payment history” means complete and timely rent payments. Missed or late payments are not reported.
At signing, then yearly
For leases entered on or after October 1, 2026, make the offer at the time of the lease agreement and at least once a year after that.
By January 1, 2027
For leases already in place before October 1, 2026, deliver the offer no later than January 1, 2027, and at least annually thereafter.
Capped and optional
You may charge a fee no greater than the lesser of your actual cost or $10 per month. Residents opt in or out in writing at any time.
A note on the details. This is a plain-language summary for property managers, not legal advice. The Maryland Secretary of Housing and Community Development will adopt regulations specifying the exact form of the offer and delivery method. Compliance and rewards go hand in hand
